Geographic scope
Express Bail Bonds is licensed and operates in Colorado. We do not write bonds outside Colorado, and we do not handle out-of-state bond transfers.
Bonds we do not handle
We do not handle cash-only bonds set by courts. Cash-only bonds must be paid to the court directly.
Pricing
The standard bail bond premium in Colorado is 15% of the bond amount. On bonds over $5,000, the premium can often be reduced to 10% with an approved cosigner. Colorado statute fixes the DUI premium at 10%. Specific terms are set in the bond agreement at the time of posting.
